Daniel Kooyenga, Owner Operator

Daniel Kooyenga started welding at a young age working for a shop located on the south side of Chicago. He quickly developed a love for the process and art of welding. When he was 17, he signed up for the U.S. Army as a heavy equipment operator. During his first tour of duty, he designed and welded full steel set-ups for his unit’s Humvees and tractor trailers. After two tours in Iraq, he started his civilian career working for Miller Electric as a lab technician at the Carol Stream, IL facility. Daniel was able to fine tune his welding skill and teach robotic operations to clients. During this time, he also worked as a professor of welding at Elgin Community College for three years. He then transferred his skills to Elkay for three years to implement a robotic welding system to enhance production.

After moving to Albuquerque, Daniel has dedicated his time to building networks and creating welding technologies in the local market. With the skills set and knowledge base from his past experiences, he is developing the area for what is to be his next success.
